1864 : Dr.E.Rey  : message about a first pied

1872 : Mr.J.Boone (Belgium) : yellow budgerigar, at the same time occurred the Greywing and Lutino.

1875 : Mr.Stechmann Kassel bred the first yellow

1878 : In Brussels (Belgium) : first blue

1879 : Mr.Kessel in Ukkel (Belgium) : yellow with red eyes = Lutino

1880 : Graf Roedern : first yellow ot the “Ornis” show in Berlin

           first yellowface bred in Belgium

           first Lutino in Europe

1881 : Mr.L.van der Snickt Belgium in a letter to Mr.Limbosch in Ukkel (Belgium) “Never I saw such a nice blue Budgerigar”

1884 : Mr.J. Abrahams  England – first Lutinos in the U.K.

1886 : Mr.Abrahams (London) – owner of a wild yellow.

1887 : In the Britisch Museum they found a darkgreen Budgerigar.

1910 : In Le Mans (France) first blue Budgerigar

           Mr. Pauwels (Belgium) put a blue Budgerigar at the London Cage Bird Association Show

1915 : Mr.Blanchard Toulouse (France) first darkgreen Budgerigar

1917 : First white

1918 : Export from Europe to Australian of a blue Budgerigar

1919 : First darkblue or cobalt

           Mr.Astley (England) and  Miss Ephrussi (France) bred at the same time white

           Budgerigars

1921 : First blue bred in Germany

           First Mauve by Blanchard ( Toulouse)

1925 : In Germany first white in the aviary of Stefani and sohn in Neuss

           Export of the first Mauve from C.Balser (France) to Germany

1927 : Mrs. Weiss in Graz  first greywing

1927 : England : bred of Greywing in blue, darkblue and mauve

1928 : Mertes ( Germany) first violet

1929 : In Switserland first Fallow

1930 : Mr.Pier (Sydney) first Yellowwing

           Violet came at the same time in Europe and Australia

           Mr. O’Brien (Sydney) first Fallow

           In order of Enehjelm came the first yellowfaces in Belgium and later in Germany

1931 : Mr.Schumacher Magdeburg first Fallow

           In Cocidate (England) Mr.Porter first cinnamon

           In the same year the halfsider

1932 : In Dänemark first recessive pied by Mr.Riis-Hanssen, Reddersen and Enejelm on

           a show in Kopenhagen

           In Germany Mr. Fischer and Böhm first Albino.

           By Mr.Fischer Sex-linked, By Mr. Böhm recessive

1933 : In England a few breeders bred  the cinnamon and Albino

           In Australia the first cinnamon, also the first opaline.

           First Whitewing exported from Australia to England as a gift for KingGeorg V.

1934 : First opaline by Mr. Brown in Kilmarnok (USA)

1935 : Violet in Australia and Dänemark

           First opaline in England

           First dominant pied in Sydney at the “Royal Zoological Society Show”

           First Greygreen by Mrs.Harrison in Murrumbeena (Australia)

           Mr.Raymakers (Belgium) first opaline

           Yellowfaces in England and Australia

1939 : In England and Canada first Crested

1940 : In Belgium and Holland first pied (Dominant pied)

1943 : First Grey Budgerigar in 3 forms : Australish grey – dominant   Mrs. Harrison (Viktoria)

1960 : First crested in England

           Feather Duster for the first time in Australia, England and Germany

           Mr. Heindel (Germany) first brownwing

1961 : First Austr.pied in the BRD (Germany)

1962 : First crested on a show  in Germany ( AZ-Bundesschau)

1964 : Mr.Wittenbrock bred the first Lacewings in Germany

1967 : First mottled in the aviary of Mr. Dobie ( Australia)

1972 : First Spangle in Australia ( Breeder unknown)

1975 : First Saddleback in Australia

1981 : First Spangle in Germany at the aviary of Mr.Mannes, and Mr.Molkentin

1984 : Mr.Molkentin bred the first Saddlebacks in Germany

1992/3 : First Blackface in Europe (Mr.Van Dijk - Netherlands)

Other mutations - Frosted - Melanistic Spangle - first bred not identified for the moment
